Big Band Boogie Bash
Join us for the first annual Big Band Boogie Bash on Friday, May 1st at the ImOn Stage at Kingston Yard, presented by Kirkwood's Music Program and KCCK!
The festivities will start at 1:00pm and will continue until the final performance at 7:00pm.

We're walking to raise money for Breakthrough T1D, the leading global type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and advocacy organization.
Breakthrough has played a crucial role in nearly every major T1D breakthrough in history.
No organization does more to improve everyday life with T1D - from therapy development and access, to expanding research, advocacy, and community support.

Make Music Cedar Rapids
Make Music Cedar Rapids is a new citywide celebration of live music held each year on June 21 as part of the global Make Music Day movement, which takes place in more than 1,000 cities worldwide. Musicians and non-musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to perform in parks, on porches, inside local businesses, and throughout downtown and neighborhood districts.
All performances are free and open to the public. Coordinated by the City of Cedar Rapids in partnership with the City Music Task Force and local organizations, the event lowers barriers to participation, supports local musicians, and makes live music visible and accessible across the community.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
While there is no fee to register for Walk, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
